Konrad and Robyn Attenberger – Business Overview

Since commencing his toolmaking apprenticeship in 1982, he has built a 40-year career in
precision manufacturing.

In 1992 he established his own toolmaking business, investing in
CNC equipment and advanced CAD capabilities. This foundation enabled him to design and
manufacture specialised equipment for many of New Zealand’s largest companies.
In 2006 he filed his first patent and obtained BRANZ approval for innovative brick ties
developed for both New Zealand and Australian markets.

To support efficient production, he
designed and built dedicated manufacturing machinery, allowing highly competitive output
that continues today.

Deeply engaged with the brick and block industry, he travelled
extensively across New Zealand, built strong industry relationships, and served on the Board
of the Brick and Blocklayers Federation. For several years he also participated in a national
roadshow, presenting to tradespeople from the far south to the far north.

He additionally contributed 20 years to his local boat club management committee, recently stepping down as a life member.

Robyn began her career in freight and logistics with a dairy company before moving into
banking, where she developed strong accounting and financial skills. When their children
arrived, she joined the family toolmaking and manufacturing business. Thirty years later, she
manages all freighting and accounts with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the right
product reaches the right customer on time, every time.
